"LET US PLAN PERFECTLY, PRACTICE
REGULARLY, MOVE ACTIVELY, SERVE SINCERELY, AND BEHAVE DECENTLY TO PROVE THAT WE
ARE ALL INDIANS. WE TRUST THAT 'SERVICE
TO HUMANITY IS THE SERVICE TO ALMIGHTY' ".
S.MD
RAFI.
(Founder
of AL-SHIFA)
It is a well known fact that in
the field of Mental Retardation services, parents of affected children only
will take the task and risk of serving such unfortunate group of children. But in the case of Mr. S.Md. Rafi the story
is all together a different one. His
inspiration came from an eccentric vision in a peculiar manner.
He got a vision in the year 1999,
in which he saw a child playing with God in Heaven. He at last could recognize that the child to
whom he knows from her childhood. She
was a pretty little girl and loved by everyone in the street. She died at the age of five years. The parents were very much dishearted and
dolorous about her death. They were telling
“God gave us a child of his own by mistake, and he has taken her back after
realizing his mistake” in their
persuation all the mentally retarded children are the progeny of God Almighty. God will be sending all such children to this
world to analyse and evaluate people’s charity as to how best they can treat
and serve these unfortunate children without any hesitation or reluctance. Next
day he went to an elder from some clarification in this matter. Through him only Mr. Rafi was given to
understand that God Almighty will honor in the heaven such people who serve
sincerely these children in this world.
Getting high inspiration from his words he started this institution
especially for the mentally retarded children.
Rafi says that he is living to serve them only. He believe in God who created the whole
universe and all the creatures on the face of the earth including the mentally
retarded persons. He has no other skills
or talents except hard work and committed service. He did not publish any articles or any books
in the subject. He says that his life
itself is an open text book which can be read and understood by any body even
by mental retarded Children. There are
no language Barriers or grammar mistakes in that book. |
